An international symposium on the occasion of the International Day for Universal Use of Information

ARID Scientific platform for Arabic-speaking scholars, experts and researchers organized a specialized international symposium on the occasion of the International Day for Universal Access to Information (A/RES/74/5).

The symposium activities began with an introductory speech by Prof. Dr. Yasser Tarshani, followed by the presentation of a set of themes that dealt with titles related to the task of benefiting from information, including “Enriching Digital Arabic Content: Necessity and Trust”, presented by the linguistic expert Dr. Ahmed Al-Janabi, and the theme of “The Impact of Modern Technologies on the Use of Science”. Legitimacy”, presented by Prof. Dr. Akram Muhammad Zaki, Professor of Information Systems at the International Islamic University in Malaysia, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the International Institute for Computing the Qur’an and Islamic Sciences. The last theme was titled “Using the right information … a guarantee of transparency and combating corruption in light of the challenges of the times Presented by Dr. Mustafa Al-Najjar.
